We respect and love our ground, our fields and each one of our flowers that every year bring to us their essence. Because of this reason, we show maximum respect to our environment using bio materials for the Festival. Just as we plan the spectacle avoiding to changing the landscape of our fields.
Besides, we enjoy giving back to society part of what they give to us. Continuing with the legacy of Andrés Corral, the festival founder, this year we will share this illusion with Asociación Española Contra el Cáncer AECC.
“The best way of predicting the future, is creating it. The future of a man that loved his fields, his town and his people, today is our present, in this sea dyed in purple. It was the love and dedication for his fields that made Andrés Corral Manzano travel all across Europe to find the harvest that gave life to his region, Brihuega.
He found the lavender aroma. What began as a dream, today has reconverted and transformed the agrarian sector of all the region. He was one of the first ones of dreaming about this, and years later, it became true. Faithful to his dream, each year we celebrate the lavender flowering in the same way he started it. We want to continue with his legacy. And because of this, each year we will give part of the festival incomes to a social or environmental project. This year we will share this illusion with Asociación Española Contra el Cáncer AECC. Andres achievements were incredible, but his biggest one was never giving up.
We can’t think of any better way to tribute his memory”.
