BOLEROS & TANGOS IN THE LAVENDER FIELDS
THE FESTIVAL THROUGHOUT THE YEARS
BOLEROS & TANGOS UNDER THE SUNSET
We were pleased to have the famous flamenco singer Diego el Cigala and pianist Jaime Calabuch “Junitus” in our VI edition.
An intimate spectacle where he offered to sing his biggest hits from zambra, to tango and bolero. Without a doubt, he touched our hearts and gave us the privilege to witness a unique and unrepeatable concert.
INVITED ARTIST – DIEGO EL CIGALA
In the life of an artist, there are many touch points that can define their path. Some of them call themselves a sort of way of expression that arises from their own being. This will guide them to define the path their careers will take, making them remarkable and irreparable.
Although Diego said that meeting Bebo Valdés was the best gift that “Lágrimas Negras” gave to him, in a human and musical level. His true love, at first sight, was the piano. And the relation they had, lead to the intimate spectacle that Diego presented to us. This show invited us to meet the artist in a closer level, where he offered his biggest hits, from la zambra to tango and bolero, mixed with new popular themes such as Nino Bravo “Te quiero, te quiero” and Pancho Céspedes “la vida loca”.
